About M2 Engineering
M2 Engineering is an Alberta-based consulting engineering firm that provides municipal and private industry engineering services for water, wastewater, and reuse water infrastructure. M2 has experienced tremendous growth by providing water/wastewater solutions in a reliable, safe and environmentally responsible way. Our projects are successful because we focus on our staff and treat clients the way we want to be treated.
Award Winning Work
M2 Engineering’s first large project was the Horse Lake First Nation Water Treatment Plant. The project consisted of planning, design and construction of a new water treatment plant for the Horse Lake First Nation, located about 60 km west of Grande Prairie. Jackie and Nathan delivered the project by using their core knowledge to manage the project and bring in a team of knowledgeable sub-consultants to complement their abilities. The water treatment plant construction was finished in 2018 with a completed construction cost of $7,720,000.
The project received an Award of Excellence at the Consulting Engineers of Alberta Showcase Awards in 2019. Jackie and Nathan’s passion for providing quality service on key projects showed through in all aspects of project delivery. Their knowledge of the importance of water services as the lifeblood of a community ensures they deliver projects to match their client’s needs.
While completing the Horse Lake Water Treatment Plant project, Jackie and Nathan were able to continue to deliver other projects and expand their client base.
